Wine and Spirits

Wine and Spirits refer to alcoholic beverages, where “wine” is made from fermented grapes or other fruits, typically containing a lower alcohol content (around 8-15% ABV), and “spirits,” also known as distilled beverages, are produced through the distillation of fermented materials, resulting in a higher alcohol content (usually 20% ABV and above). Wine can be further categorized into varieties such as red, white, sparkling, and rosé, each with distinct attributes based on grape types and production methods. Spirits include categories like whiskey, vodka, rum, gin, and tequila, each characterized by their base ingredients, distillation processes, and flavor profiles. Together, wine and spirits form a broad category of consumables enjoyed in social settings, culinary pairings, and cultural traditions worldwide.
